Dine & Be Kind

President’s Food Insecurity Initiative

Simply donate $5.95 at any Dining Hall during the week of September 20-24 to provide a UNT student with a delicious, scratchmade meal.

How to participate

Tell the cashier you’d like to donate 1 meal (or more) to the Dine & Be Kind: President’s Food Insecurity Initiative.

Use Flex, debit/credit, contactless payment or Declining Balance to pay $5.95 plus tax per meal.

At the end of the week, Dining Services will convert all donated meals to meal passes that can be redeemed by UNT students facing food insecurity. Students will enjoy a wholesome, scratchmade, all-you-care-to-eat meal at Kitchen West, Texas’ first and only university Dining Hall Certified Free From™ the Big 8 Food Allergens and Gluten by Kitchens with Confidence.

September 20 – 24, 2021

Any UNT student, faculty, staff or visitor.

Program is limited to the first 200 donations for Fall 2021. Spring 2022 Dine & Be Kind dates will be announced soon.
