Special Diet Meal Plan

Fall 2020–Spring 2021

If you have a condition requiring a special diet, you may request a Special Diet Meal Plan. There is no exemption from the financial obligation of a Meal Plan for students whose residence hall room come bundled with a Meal Plan. You will be charged for the meal plan regardless of Plan status.

If approved, your Meal Plan will be converted to a Special Diet Meal Plan for one semester. This Special Diet Meal Plan expires at the end of the semester.

To apply for a Special Diet Meal Plan, please complete the online request form.

When submitting the form, you will be asked to submit a signed letter on official letterhead from an independent (not related) licensed medical doctor, registered dietitian or clergy person with the following details:

  • Student’s name
  • Date
  • Explanation of dietary restrictions
  • Acceptable sample menu based on restrictions for a day (3 meals)
