All Faculty/Staff Plans must be purchased online. If you have difficulty accessing Faculty/Staff Plans in eDining, please contact us at 940-565-2462 or Dining@unt.edu so that we can assist you. We cannot take payment by phone or in our office.

Risk-free & refundable

All Faculty/Staff Meal Plans are refundable upon request within 365 days of the last use. Simply fill out our Refund Request form, and please allow 5-10 business days for processing.


Effective July 1, 2020, current Faculty/Staff or Retirees of UNT and the UNT System may purchase a Faculty/Staff Meal Plan.

Visiting scholars affiliated with a UNT department and other university partners may also be eligible to purchase Faculty/Staff Plans.

Current students have access to a variety of Student Meal Plans.

All Other Guests may pay our Standard Door Rate.


Appreciation Lunches

On special days each month during the fall and spring semesters, UNT Faculty and Staff can enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat lunch in any of our Dining Halls for only $6.50 (normally $8.45) plus tax.

Departmental Cards

Treat your team, department or campus guests to breakfast, lunch or dinner

The Departmental Food Card is a no-hassle method for UNT departments to bill food purchases from university dining locations to an Internal Department Order (IDO).

Get Started

1 To create an IDO, please start by completing the Departmental Food Card Registration form below.

2Following the form submission, the department head will need to send an email to LaShonda.Harvey@unt.edu with their EUID and initials to serve as their electronic signature.

3We will contact you by email when your card is ready for pick up from the Welcome Center, #237. Please bring a state issued ID or driver’s license.

How It Works

This card can be used at any Dining Services location. This includes all Dining Halls, all Retail Locations and Avesta. No outside vendors will accept this card as a form of payment.

This card will be tax-exempt.

We will send an IDO with each month's charges. For a breakdown of charges by location, please send a request to LaShonda.Harvey@unt.edu, specifying the month needed.

If the card is lost or stolen, it will be the responsibility of the Department to contact us for cancellation. We will provide a new card at that time.

Departmental Card Policies

You are required to follow all university policies and procedures when using this card ⁠— in regard to the purchase of food, as well the regulations set by your department. 


Your department is responsible for any and all charges. If your card is lost or stolen, please contact us at 940-565-2462. We will cancel your card and provide a replacement. 


This card is a stored value FLEX purchase and must be charged using the Sequoia Register. We are required to give the customer their receipt. 


There is no discounted price for any products.  


This card may NOT be used as a meal swipe and may NOT be swiped using the AT 3000. 


When experiencing any problems with this card, please contact the Manager on Duty. If the MOD is unable to resolve those issues, please call the administrative office #2462.
